This past summer, the Old Man of Storr bore witness to something truly unforgettable.
As the mist curled around the jagged pinnacles of Skye’s most iconic landscape, a group of visitors from across the Atlantic—Voices from the Heart —embarked on a hike that would become a moment of magic.
Guided through the ancient landscape, the group listened intently as their guide shared the myths and legends that breathe life into the Storr.
Tales of giants turned to stone, of ancient spirits, and of the deep connection between land and lore stirred something in the group.
Their voices rose gently through the mist, carrying the melody of Flower of Scotland across the hillside. It was a moment of stillness and reverence—where history, nature, and human spirit met in harmony. Passersby paused, moved by the unexpected beauty of the moment. Even the wind seemed to hush.
It was more than a performance. It was a tribute—to Scotland, to its stories, and to the power of shared experience.
We were honoured to welcome Voices from the Heart to the Storr, and we hope their song lingers in the stone for years to come.
